The hobby 088

I bought this cabinet radio/turntable/8track player back in the summer. It's a Morse. It's a low end cabinet made in Japan. It fed a demand back in the 70's. When I got it home and began working on it, I noticed a hum in it. I wasn't able to locate it so it has been sitting for months. I finally came up with a plan. I would convert it into a jukebox and fit it with a computer and use it to stream music through out the house. As I began to work it replacing the speakers, taking out the radio leaving the turntable and the 8 track, I noticed tht both of these components have their own power supply. Then I started thing, why not get an amplifier, connect those two components to it and them connect an Airport Express to it and stream music to it that way. I redrew the plans and started simple. Get the Airport and hook it up first and then add the other things later. Right now I am listening to music streaming to it from my iTunes. It orally needs the amp. Sidebar, the turntable needs to be retro fitted with a power supply. I also didn't put a computer in it because of the speaker magnets.
